From The General officer Commanding
To The Secretary,
China Command,
War Office, London, S.V.
Headquarters, HONG KONG,
24th May, 1915.
sir.
I have the honour to forward an extract from a
statement by an informer named Nawab Khan,
This statement was sent me from India by the Officiating Deputy Inspector General of Police, Criminal Investigation Department, Punjab, Lahore.
The extract I have made shows that the Hong Kong Police are not very successful in preventing objectionable persons from landing here, It also shows that in spite of all our efforts the Gurdwara (Sikh Temple) here is a hotbed of sedition.
I have the honour to be,
sir,
Your obedient servant,
(Sgd.)
F.H. Kelly,
Major General,
Commanding H.B.M's Troops in China.
